Scenario chats, and many ways to sign in
Nectar AI treats every chat as a preset scenario. Each one has a title and a backstory panel that sets out both your role and the companion's, so a conversation starts with a situation rather than a blank box. The companion is a character run by an AI model. It works in a web browser; its pages do not say whether there are store apps or which languages it supports.
Signing up is flexible. You can use email, Apple, Discord, Google or Telegram, or connect a crypto wallet such as Coinbase, MetaMask or WalletConnect; the site says more than 500 wallets work. The content filter is set to safe when you join, and a toggle turns on adult mode for those who want it. User experience, though, scores only Fair.
Very Good chat, with memory counted in messages
Chat quality scores Very Good, and it is the reason to consider Nectar AI at all. Advanced content, how it handles adult conversations for those who switch them on, scores Very Good as well. Paid plans advertise faster replies the higher you go, and Ultimate has the fastest.
Memory needs a closer look. Nectar AI is on our long-term memory list, and its FAQ says a companion keeps context such as storylines and preferences across sessions, but it is candid that older exchanges may fade. The plan cards put numbers on it: 25 recent messages held in memory on Premium, 35 on Pro and 45 on Ultimate. Monthly message caps are 6,000 on Premium and 9,000 on Pro; only Ultimate is unlimited.
A prompt-only picture tool
The generator has Image and Video tabs, with video marked new. There are no option menus: you describe what you want in a prompt, so good results take long, specific prompts. High resolution and randomize are for Pro and above, and choosing dimensions is for Ultimate only. Image quality scores Fair, while the generative tools score Good.
One useful touch is Create Companion from Image, which turns a generated picture into a new companion you can chat with. Companion pictures reportedly take about one to two minutes to make. Photo messages in chat are capped at 600 a month on Premium and 900 on Pro, and unlimited on Ultimate. Neither voice messages nor calls are described on its pages, so do not count on them.
Companions, personas and the free-tier catch
The library covers female, male and anime characters, though its size is not published; the characters score is Good. The creator starts with options such as body type, then takes text prompts for personality, and adds fields for a name, tattoos and glasses before Complete generates the character. Customization scores Good.
There are two catches. Free users reportedly cannot chat with the characters they create, which makes the free tier more of a preview than a trial. Custom personas are also rationed by plan: one on Premium, three on Pro and, reportedly, ten on Ultimate.
Three annual plans and what each really buys
As of September 2026 all three plans are billed annually in US dollars. Premium is $4.99 a month, $59.99 a year, with 100 generations a day and 45-plus customizations. Pro is $9.99 a month, $119.99 a year, with unlimited generations, HD and 95-plus customizations. Ultimate, marked most popular, is $14.99 a month, $179.99 a year, with unlimited HD, 350-plus customizations, 2,500 credits a month and video.
The headline price suits a light user only. Anyone who wants unlimited messages, the longest memory or video ends up on Ultimate, which means $179.99 paid up front, and a monthly option is not listed. Crypto payment is supported; other methods are not stated. That is why value for money scores Poor.
Privacy and cancelling
Its FAQ says conversations and generated pictures are private, not visible to other users and not shared with third parties, and that chats are not used to train outside AI models. You cancel from account settings; paid features last to the end of the billing period and the account then returns to the free plan. Its pages do not set out a refund policy, so check before paying a year.
Is Nectar AI worth it
Nectar AI is worth it for an adult who cares most about conversation, likes starting from a scenario, and accepts paying a year up front. Its chat and its handling of adult topics are its best scores. It is a poor fit on a budget, since value and the free trial are both Poor, and for anyone who wants easy pictures, voice or calls.
