Explore, Match and a currency called Stars
GoLove AI is a young AI girlfriend site, launched in December 2024, and its user base is reportedly still small. It runs in a web browser with no download; the site says setup takes under a minute with a Google sign-in. The app is split into Explore, Create, Generate and Match, plus a daily rewards screen, and its tokens are called Stars.
It allows adult conversations for users 18 and over, and the site says it verifies age across the platform. The characters are AI personas, which the site says are built from synthetic data and not based on real people. User experience scores Good, though the line between safe and adult content is reportedly hard to read in places.
Chat, calls and Live mode
Chat quality scores Very Good, the best of its scores, and characters reportedly keep to their set personalities. Messages carry a play button for voice playback. The chat header has a green phone icon for calls and a camera icon for Live mode, which shows the companion in an AI-generated live video. You can also ask for pictures or videos of the companion from inside the chat.
The site says a character keeps a permanent memory of your preferences and past conversations, and that memory is free. GoLove AI is not on our long-term memory list, so treat the word permanent with care. The site also says chats are end-to-end encrypted and that you can delete chats and history with one tap.
The Generate section and its limits
Generate makes pictures and videos tied to a companion you choose. There are no text prompts, even for paying members: the options are pose, clothing and background. Standard photos are free, while HD pictures and unlimited generation need a paid plan. Image quality scores Good, but the generative tools are only Fair, and results are reportedly weak, with distorted pictures.
A newly created character can reportedly be missing from the Generate picker, although asking in chat still gets pictures of it. Video is limited too. If pictures are high on your list, this is the part of GoLove AI to be most cautious about.
A female-only library, and a creator that costs Stars
The site lists over 350 ready-made characters, all of them female; there are no male or LGBTQ+ characters. The library still scores Good. Match offers a swipe-style way to find characters that are not shown in Explore: X to skip, the star to chat now, the heart to like.
Create lets you set voice, personality, occupation, relationship, hobby and preferences, including roleplay types, and making a character costs Stars, with a trial on a free sign-in. A new character reportedly takes three to four minutes. Its FAQ also speaks of a fuller custom creator on the way. For now customization scores only Fair.
Three plans, and Stars you can earn
As of September 2026 there are three plans in US dollars: $12.99 for one month, $9.99 a month for three months ($29.97), and $4.15 a month for twelve months ($49.80). Prices can vary by location and promotion. Stars pay for new characters, pictures and videos, and value for money scores Good. Payment methods are not stated.
Free users earn Stars through Daily Rewards, the four-dot icon at the top right: claim 1 Star a day, or 2 on PRO. Small tasks add more, such as 2 Stars for joining its Discord, 2 for a post on X and 2 per invited friend, up to ten friends. That will not fund heavy picture use, and pack prices are not published, so a heavy user cannot price that part in advance.
Terms to check first
Its pages do not set out cancellation, renewal or refund terms, and they give no privacy summary beyond the encryption and deletion claims. The free trial scores Good, so the simplest approach is to use the free plan and daily Stars for a while, then read the terms before choosing a plan, especially the twelve-month one.

GoLove AI fits an adult who wants Very Good chat without paying up front and is happy with a female-only library. The free plan and the daily Stars go further than most. It fits less well if you want to write your own picture prompts, expect strong video, want male characters, or want to shape a character in detail, since customization is only Fair.
